This is a post to make people understand that Deoband is a body which is trying to control Islamic ideology in one or another way. Issuing fatwas is a call for change in the religious practice and this should not be announced every now and then without understanding the importance of the issue.

Delhi Traffic a problem

This post is to make people understand the problems which can reduce the traffic problem in Delhi.

The National Highway No. 24 which in Delhi starts from Nizamuddin Bridge is the life line for the people residing in Eastern part of Delhi. For past 18 years I have been traveling on this road. The construction of the new Nizamuddin bridge has reduce the traffic congestion on this road to an extent of 45 %. But the major problem is the policy of the Delhi Police which is not to make thing easy but to make the things more problematic for the people. The road leading from Nizamuddin Bridge to Noida More is having heavy traffic in the peak hour of morning and evening. The construction of the lope roads made people think that the future will be bright but in vain, the problem is still persisting. When the traffic merges at the Noida More intersection there is a heavy rush and long jam (photo attached).

Traffic jam from Commonwealth Village till Noida More

The reason for this jam is the Red-light which has been installed at this point. The heavy traffic which is coming in flow has to break down at this point. The Delhi Traffic Police has a reason that it has been installed to keep the traffic in good flow and also to help the people cross the road. But this was not done in past three years. Now when more people have started to use this free flow road the red-light has been installed. This is only to create problems for the people. For pedestrian the government could have constructed a foot-over bridge which could have avoided that long traffic jams.

Don’t know how many people will agree with me to the reason that traffic problem of Delhi is created by the Delhi Traffic Police, vote and lets make a survey for the same!

Most popular leader of India at present!

This is a post to make the people understand about their leaders and to vote for their leaders popularity.

The political arena of India is going through the worst phase since independence. In the 65th year of it independence India has the rise in one name i.e. Anna Hazare.

This person has made the people come together on the slogan of Corruption Free India. His agitation at Delhi Ramli Lal Ground made the government to rethink on its stand on Jan Lokpal bill.

The popularity graph of Anna is a serious threat for the present politicians. It this race of popularity the politicians are using gimmicks to gain the mileage for the forth coming elections.

L K Advani announced Rath Yatra against corruption. He wants to en-cash this word corruption which has been the reason for getting mileage for Anna and his team. Advani has been dreaming to become the Prime Minister of India since many years. He has taken two rath yatras which have become the reason of communal hatred in India. He gave a call for demolition of Babri Masjid, which was a political hand in glove of all the political parties in India. But the construction of Ramjanam Bhoomi Mandir is still far of sight, which BJP has always being using in its election manifesto to woo the majority of Hindus of India. Now as the educated Hindu has lost its interest in Mandir issue the BJP of which Advani is a veteran leader is planning for a new gimmick to get to the limelight.

Congress is all the more in worst problem due to the scams which are unearthing on daily basis and making problems for the party. SoniaGandhi is being considered to be a mother of all the corruptions as her leaders are involved in the biggest scams India has seen since the day of independence. Dr. Subramaniam Swamy has been blogging about how Sonia Gandhi has been creating problems for the India masses and what her motive at last is. The people of India are not getting the real picture of the corrupt politicians.

Narendra Modi the Chief Minister of Gujarat is also racing for the popularity. He just finished a political gimmick of ‘Sadbhavana’ fast lasting for 72 hrs. He is hoping to have a make over in regards to his mistakes which he has committed by removing the IPS officer Sanjiv Rajendra Bhatt. He in his report has named the present CM Narendra Modi to be responsible for 2002 Gujarat riots. He has been carrying a placard that Gujarat is a model state and he has made it possible to develop.

Now it is the time for the people to come forward and understand what is right and what is wrong for them. To fool the common public is not an easy task but the politicians will make all possible moves to remain in the main lead.

Earthquake in Delhi at 6.8 richter scale.

This post is to inform about Earthquake in Northern India.

An Earthquake shook the Northern India at about 18:10 hrs .

The epicenter of this earthquake was in Sikkim state of India bordering Nepal. The intensity of the quake was 6.8 on the Richter scale.

The tremors were felt in the whole Northern India. Slight tremors were also felt in Madhya Pradesh, state of central India.

Tremors in Delhi were felt for about 5 to 6 seconds. Casualty was reported from Nepal, Bihar, Sikkim, and some central parts of India. This is another earthquake felt in Delhi within 7 days.

Who will be the next Prime Minister of India?

This is a post to discuss about the next PM of India for the next general election in 2014.

The convassing for the Prime Minister candidate has started in India even when to election are two yeas ahead.

The two major parties happens to be the Congress (I) and the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). Both these parties have been fooling people of India in the race to get the ruling chair at Delhi.

Congress hs been advocating that youngsters should come into politics. This is not the reason which really the Congress wants but behind the curtain is the motive to help Rahul Gandhi to climb to the chair of the PM. He is young and the son of the chairperson of Congress-Sonia Gandhi. The lineage of Rahul is from the first PM of India Jawahar Lal Nehru as he is the grandson of Indira Gandhi. The hero worship is in the roots of the people of India!

The veteran leader of BJP L K Advani is dreaming for this post from day one but in vain. There is a conflict between the members of BJP for the candidate for the post of next PM. Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley are the strong contestents on which the party is divided. The new name for the post of PM from BJP is of Narendra Modi the present CM of Gujarat. Modi is being supported by fanatic Hindu group RSS of which BJP is an off shoot. Advani is being pressurised by RSS to withdraw his name from the race, which is still to be decided if the greed subsides.

The CM of Bihar Nitish Kumar is also in the race for the post holding the placard of Bihar development.

Surprisingly the two ladies are also joining the race Jayalalitha CM of Tamil Nadu and and Mayawati the CM of Uttar Pradesh. Jayalalitha was sentenced by the Tamil Nahu High Court in corruption charges but she filed case in Supreme Court in 1996 (case is still pending) and she is enjoying the post of CM, now setting eyes on the chair of PM.

Mayawati is a name which is related to number of corruption chages but the chair of the PM is where all ends up.
The candidate for the post of PM will be decided by the UP Assembly polls scheduled to be early next year. Will it be Rahul Gandhi or Mayawati from north India.

Still lot of time is left but the reason behind for early canvassing is the fear from the side of Anna Hazare and his team, who have gathered immense popularity among the people of India on the issue of removing corruption from India.

To really fight the deep rooted corruption in India one has to join active politics and if Anna and his team form a politcal party then Arvind Kejriwal should become the acrive candidate for the post of PM.

Whom you think can be the right PM for India?

Anna Hazare has to join active politics!

This post is prophesied regarding the change in the Indian political system. Anna and his team will have to join active politics if really they are planning to see a Corruption Free India.

As Anna Hazare is now conducting press conferences from Ralegan Sidhi. He is voicing against the proposed yatra announced by L K Advani against corruption.
L K Advani's proposed route for Anti-Corruption Rath Yatra

Advani is a veteran leader of Bhartiya Janta Party. He has been using his voice through traveling in the country in a rath (carriage) and motivates people on the political issue. He started his first “Rath Yatra”–an air-conditioned van decorated to look like a chariot–from Somnath in Gujarat. He traveled a larger part of North India in 1990. This was the main reason of communal violence which India had to face and the after effect of this tour was the demolition of Babri Masjid.

Now to gain political mileage Advani is again planning a Rath Yatra in the name of Anti-Corruption. He has seen the power of Anna voicing Corruption Free India and he just wants to encash this slogan for the next general elections. BJP has been fooling the majority of India for the construction of Ram Janambhoomi Mandir at the disputed site of Babri Masjid. Now, the majority has understood that the construction of the Mandir is not possible and the BJP has been playing with the emotions of the people.

Anna has to be careful in this regard and finally he and his men have to join active politics to make India Corruption Free. Masses have faith in Anna and his team and the time is coming when Anna and his team have to finally put their heads together and think to become a part of active politics. To putout the fire you have to use water and when the fire is big then you have to get to the root of the fire wearing the proper suite.

Natural water bodies being filled in Amroha

This is a post to inform the water conservation organisation around the world about the filling of the natural water bodies in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India.

India is facing the problem of water. Since many years the government is propagating to use the means to conserve water. In small villages and town the people are educated dig man made water tank where rain water conservation is possible.

Water is most important ingredient for life:
  • Drinking water is not available to 20% of the world's population.
  • The 40% population of the world is not having sufficient water for adequate living and hygiene.
  • 2.2 million (plus) of the population of the world dies every year to the reason of diseases related to contaminated drinking water.
  • It is estimated that by 2050, water scarcity will affect 7 billion people out of total 9.3 billion.
  • The condition in India is much alarming as we have 16% of the world's population to which only 4% of the fresh water resources are available.
  • The availability of the Per capita fresh water in India is declining from 5,177 cubic meters in 1951 to 1,820 cubic meters in 2001.
  • The situation is pathetic in both Rural and Urban areas e.g. in Bangalore water is rationed twice in a week, and in Bhopal it is for 30 minutes a day
  • If this situation persists then the situation will be that two out of every three people on earth will have water stressed condition in the year 2025.

Condition in the rural areas:
  • Women in the village have to walk to a distance of 2.5 kms to get to the water resource.
  • The wells which are dug have poor quality of water which is saline dirty and has turbidity.
  • The young girls are not able to attend schools as they are being used to fetch water for the whole family.

Benefits of Water Harvesting
  • Conservation of rainwater recharges water table and keeps it stable to the need of the population.
  • The man made water resources which are used to conserve rain water are easy to access.
  • These water bodies are used for irrigation throughout the year as water is available in these tanks which improve the condition of the villagers.
  • These water conservation tanks are considered to be social temples.

Technical methods to conserve water:
Rainwater Harvesting:
This is an easy way of conserving water. It can be done through collection of water at the rooftops. This is easy source of water which can be used all the year round if stored properly.
There are three technical methods of rain water harvesting such as Catchment, Conveyance and storage.

Historical Water Bodies:
Every town and village has traditional water body which is left over. This water body can be reused easily.

Ponds:
Ponds and small water bodies should not be used as dumping grounds of sewage and other wastes of the town or the village. The government should deepen these ponds with the help of dragline machines. Any waste like garbage or any other thing should not be dumped into the ponds.

Condition in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India
This is much required and the need of the hour. But in Amroha a small but historic town about 130 kms towards west from the capital region of Delhi the situation is much alarming.

There is a pond Panvadi Talab (Figure 01, Google map). One can imagine the dimensions of this natural water body which has been along three other water bodies Kushak Talab (Figure 02, Google map) and Lakha Lokhar Talab the source of water for the town. Lakha Lokhar Talab is no more as the land mafia has filled it up with the span of time for their selfish motives. (Figure attached)
Google maps image (Figure 1)
Google maps image (Figure 2)

Now only two ponds are remaining Kushak Talab and Panvadi Talab. On my recent visit to this town gave me a shock as the Panvadi Talab is being filled and new building are being constructed over the reclaimed land. This is serious matter and crime against conservation of water bodies. The Uttar Pradesh government is least bothered. The water is flowing on the road as the pond is being filled for land by builders. This is a strong lobby in Amroha as one journalist was killed in Delhi by the builder lobby of Amroha.
The Panvadi Talab (Pond) is being filled (Fig. 1)
The Panvadi Talab (Pond) is being filled and water on road. (Fig. 2)
The Panvadi Talab (Pond) is being filled (Fig. 3)
The Panvadi Talab (Pond) is being filled (Fig. 4)
The Panvadi Talab (Pond) is being filled (Fig. 5)
The Panvadi Talab (Pond) is being filled (Fig. 6)

  1. What can be done in this regard?
  1. Should not the people who are doing all this be punished severely?

I appeal to the water conserving organisations to take up this matter and do needful in saving the left over water bodies in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India.

India against corruption the agitation a mass movement

This is a post to inform people about the agitation of Anna coming to an end, peacefully.

The 12 days ordeal of Anna Hazare is going to end on 10:00 AM IST on 28th August at Ram Lila Ground. This is the winning of the people of India against the selfish ruling of the politicians of India.

The world in the present day monitoring violence and thousands of people are dying around the globe. India has been proving the power of nonviolence ever since the days of its independence and has won number of wars against the truancy of the rulers.

The hunger strike of Anna started from the Tihar Jail on 16th August 2011 where he was imprisoned after the Delhi Police arrested him against his call for agitation to fight corruption. These 12 days saw history being repeated at the Ram Lila Ground when thousands of people gathered there to be a part of a peaceful agitation after 1975 when Jai Prakash Narain gave a call for agitation.

The government has promised to finally make arrangements to get the Jan Lokpal bill passed by the Parliament of India in the interest of the people of India. Let’s wait and watch what the government finally does!

Promises are made to be broken: Dr. Manmohan Singh PM India to Anna Hazare

This is a post to intimate people of the promise that the PM made from the floor of the Parliament but could not keep to his promise.

The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) is in the ruling chair for the second time in a row. The country has seen the biggest scams in this duration of 8 years. Most of the time the government is making false promises and playing games with the public of India, befooling them of the law making procedures, or sending few ministers to jail to prove its credibility.

The voice of Anna Hazare raised the question of Jan Lokpal bill on 5 April 2011. To break the fast of Anna the government finally agreed to make the bill effective by introducing it in the Parliament. Instead the government placed the draft in front of the Standing Committee. The Standing Committee finally drafted a new draft of the Lokpal bill and tabled it in the Parliament on 8th August 2011.

This was opposed by the Anna Team (Civil Society) and he gave a call for hunger strike on 16th August2011 (read the link).

Yesterday, the PM of India Dr. Manmohan Singh assured from the Parliament that there will be discussion on the draft of Anna Hazare and the bill will be passed only after proper discussion and satisfaction of the people. The discussion was to take place today but eventually it could not happen to the reason that the discussion has to be intimated to the members of the Parliament through notice which was not done. In haste the Congress party asked its members to make the move for the procedure and they did it. The bill will be discussed under section 193 of the Indian Parliamentary procedures which allows discussion but does not permit for voting.

Is the Congress befooling the people by playing the corrupt games again and again?

Public has to understand the games of the government and vote it out of power next time if they are not getting the proper Jan Lokpal bill passed in the Parliament.

Scam since 1947

This is a post to intimate people that there are number of scams being held in India but no punishment has been given. Let the Jan Lokpal bill come to tackle the situation wisely.

The desire to have all the lavish life and to make their families happy people think the money can do all for them and thus fall for constituting scams. Money is considered to be the prime solace provider. Money is considered to be the supreme power which can fetch all the happiness and thus the race to have more is run till the end of life.

Every country in the world has had scams and punishments are provided to the scam creators. But in India the scams master minds are all the politicians and they lead a respectable life. Congress has been leading the country for 52 years in the 64 years of independent India. This party was initially the major party which was leading India in the freedom struggle. On the day when India got independent Pt. Nehru became the Prime Minister of India as a resolution was passed by the Indian National Congress (INC) that the person who will be the President of the INC on the time of independence will be the PM of the new nation. An urgent session of INC was called in Lahore and Maulana Azad was removed from the post of the President to INC and Pt. Nehru was made the President instead of him. This was the last political scam which slave India saw and made way for the new PM to milk the country from the very first day.

There are number of scams which are conducted by the Congress people and none have been punished by the court of law. Indira Gandhi was accused by the Allahabad court for irregularities in the election, and Jai Prakash Narain demanded her resignation in this regard. She imposed emergency to suppress the voice of the people, this happened in 1975.

The country has been facing the problem due to these scams and Anna Hazare is now raising voice against the corruption. But still the politicians are trying to suppress the voice of the millions of Indian and the ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) is not paying much heed to the demand of the public. The reason to this attitude is the major portion of the Congress in the UPA and they have always milked the country for their selfish motives. The government is saying that the demands of Anna are baseless as the Lokpal bill is already on the table of the Parliament. The Lokpal bill which the government has drafted is having many loop holes as the one most important is; provision for the punishment to the person who is found guilty in a scam, the draft say no punishment. This shows that the Congress has ill will to punish the culprits as it is neck deep in the corruption.

Here the most important thing is that the scams are the root causes which happen due to the connivance of the ruling party. It is the country which has to face the problems at large and if the money which is involved in the scams is honestly used then there cannot be any problem in the country.

The list of the scams:

Jeep Purchase (1948) – The first scam just one year after the independence. V. K. Krishna Menon, the then Indian high commissioner to Britain, misused his power by bypassing protocol in signing a deal worth Rs. 80 lakh. This deal was signed with a foreign firm in order to purchase army jeeps. As Krishna Menon joined the Nehru cabinet in 1955 the case came to stand as no more. This shows that Pt. Nehru was the main man behind this scam.

Cycle Imports (1951) – S.A. Venkataraman was jailed on granting a cycle import quota to a company as the secretary in the ministry of commerce and industry. He has take bribe for signing the quota.

BHU Funds (1956) – Banaras Hindu University officials were held in the case fo misappropriate use of funds amounting to be Rs. 50 Lakh. This was the first educational scam which the country saw just after independence.

Mundhra Scandal (1957) – This scam was on of the first scam which was to be considered to be huge to the amount of Rs. 1.25 crore. Finance minister T. T. Krishnamachari was part of the sale of fraudulent share of LIC by a Calcutta based businessman Haridas Mundhra. Commission was formed and Justice M. C. Chagla was made the in charge. The FM was found guilty and had to resign and Mundhra was jailed for 22 years.

Teja Loans Scam (1960) – Investigating agencies found that huge amount of money was being siphon off from India. It was found that the Shipping magnate Jayant Dharma Teja has taken loans of Rs 22 crore to establish the Jayanti Shipping Company. He instead of establishing the company has siphon the money out to his account and he also fled the country before he could be caught.

Kairon Scam (1963) – The post of Chief Minister was in news when Pratap Singh Kairon was accused of abusing his power for his own benefit.

Patnaik's Own Goal (1965) – Kalinga Tubes was the company of Orissa Chief Minister Biju Patnaik. It was found the Biju Patnaik has been favouring his privately help company and thus misusing his power.

Maruti Scandal (1974) – The Maruti scandal had the name of the son of PM Indira Gandhi (Sanjay Gandhi) in the license for the manufacturing passenger car. This scam was held much before the setting up of the company and nothing came to a conclusion.

Solanki Expose (1992) – Madhavsinh Solanki the External Affairs Minister has slipped a letter to its Swiss counterpart to stop the probe into Bofors kickbacks. The moment this was made to news he resigned and his whereabouts are not known.

Kuo Oil Deal (1976) – A deal was signed with a firm of Hong Kong which never existed. Indian Oil Corporation had signed an Rs 2.2-crore oil contract all being fraudulent. The Petroleum and Chemical Minister was involved.

Antulay Trust (1981) – The Chief Minister of Maharashtra A.R. Antulay was accused to have taken Rs. 30 crore from business men and had kept the money in a private trust. The scam was unearthed by Indian Express and this became its rebirth.

HDW Commissions (1987) – A Germany submarine making company alleged that they have paid Rs. 20 crores as commissions and finally the case was closed in favour of the company in 2005.

Bofors Pay-Off (1987) – This is the most talked scam in India. It was said that a Swedish firm paid Rs 64 crore to Indian bigwigs. Name of the then PM Rajiv Gandhi was in the list, to secure the purchase of the Bofors gun.

St Kitts Forgery (1989) – V. P. Singh has bullied the capitalist of India. Ambanis were the worst hit because of their immoral practices in the trade. Thus an attempt was made to wrongfully link V. P. Singh with the account of his son Ajeya Singh named as First Trust Corp. at St Kitts, having a huge deposit of $21 million.

Airbus Scandal (1990) – Indian Airlines's (IA) signed a deal of Rs 2,000-crore deal with Airbus. The crash of the A-320 caused the problems and all the new planes ware grounded. This caused Rs. 2.5 crores loss to the company on weekly basis.

Securities Scam (1992) – Harshad Mehta the master mind in manipulating the banks to siphon off money and investing funds in the stock market, which lead to the crash in the market to the estimated loss of Rs 5,000 crore. Harshad Mehta did another scam in 1998 but nothing could be recovered.

Indian Bank Rip-off (1992) – M. Gopalakrishnan, the then chairman of the Indian Bank, lent of the loan of Rs. 1,300 crore which was given to the small corporates and exporters from the south.

Sugar Import (1994) – Kalpnath Rai the then Food Minister caused the loss of Rs. 650 to the exchequer by importing sugar at a price higher than that of the market. He resigned over the allegations.

MS Shoes Scam (1994) – Pawan Sachdeva of MS Shoes used company funds to buy shares (of his own company) much before the public issue was introduced in the market. He was in gloves with the Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and SBI Caps duping the public into investing in his Rs. 699-crore company.

JMM Bribes (1995) – To bring out the Congress government out of non-confidence motion the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Shailendra Mahato and his three party members received bribes of Rs 30 lakh in 1993.

Rights of the people Anna Hazare

This post is to inform people about their rights and also request them to exercise their rights peacefully.

People of India are hero worshipers. The make the politicians to be the Gods. The politicians are elected by the people and made to be their representatives in the law implementing and making machinery i.e. Parliament. But the people have been providing chance to the selected politicians from their respective areas without ever asking questions.

Anna Hazare has taught people of India to question the politician who is their representative in the Parliament. This is the fundamental right of the people and they should exercise it openly. This call from Anna has created a situation of unrest for the politicians who have been milking this country every now and then.

People taking our agitation all over India

People have been visiting the homes of the MPs and the MLAs and asking them to clear their stand on the Jan Lokpal bill. The politicians are using force to remove the people from their door steps, only few are welcoming the public and listening to their demand and issuing statement on the issue.

People are not using force, all the agitations are peaceful and people are just leaving a rose flower on the door step as a token of Get Well Soon. This action has been taken from a Hindi film Lage rahoo Muna Bhai. The villain of the film is presented with flower by every person of the city, this is a way of making the stubborn person feel ashamed and come to the right track in life.

People visited house of Parnab Mukherjee Minister of Finance and left rose flower there. The crowd comprised of female (mostly college girls), children and men. The police rounded up few of the agitators alleging that they were using slogan with unparliamentarily language.

People visited the house of Kapil Sibal Minister of Human Resource Development, who has been replying to Anna’s action in his peculiar befooling manner. The people who agitated outside his house said that they have made a mistake by voting him to Parliament, and next time they will not make such a mistake.

In Mumbai the people visited the house of Priya Dutt, Gurda Kamat, and others to show their unrest. Priya Dutt did comment that she is with the people and is no way supporting the Lokpal bill which is being tabled in the Parliament. She said that she is with the people of India and respects their demands to remove corruption.

NOTICE & CAUTION:
People are requested to carry their Identity Cards with them as the police may ask about your identity and in case you don’t have one you can be rounded by the police as a precautionary measure. This is another way of not letting people to be the part of this agitation.
