Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal & Green Park in Noida: Dream project of Mayawati

This post is about Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal & Green Park being made by Mayawati in the name of Dalit community for her self proclamation to be the Dalit Queen. She has got her family introduction done through this park.

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Ms. Mayawati has made a park which has been completed to the enormous cost of Rs. 700 crores. This is said to be a dream project of the self proclaimed Dalit Queen who has been making such parks for her glory and fame. She has nothing to do with the development of the state. She is the lady who made a private jet to fly to Mumbai from Lucknow the capital of Uttar Pradesh (UP) just to buy a pair of sandals.

Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal & Green Park is situated in Noida on the river Yamuna which is the dividing Delhi and UP. This is a park which is covering the area of 82.5 acres (3,34,334 sq meters). This park has been constructed to the popularisation of the Dalit community of India.

Dalit or the downtrodden are the members of the Hindu community who have been suppressed for years together in the name of the caste system. It is said that members of this community were not allowed to lead a normal life in the yester years. The height of atrocities against the Dalit was that they could not fetch water from the common wells in the villages, which is still prevalent in some parts of Rajasthan state of India. The members of this community were to wear a broom next to their waist as a mark of indication for the people of the higher caste. Education and other benefits which were provided to the upper caste were beyond thinking for the people of this community.

It was Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (B. R. Ambedkar) who was the first person from this community who has been to college and also attained a law degree fighting all the odds. He was the Chairman of the Drafting Committee of Indian Constitution. He was born in the poor Mahar family—considered to be untouchables. For his whole life he was fighting against the caste system and finally renounced Hinduism and converted to Buddhism.

Mayawati has been voicing that she is the sole leader of the Dalit community and this is the reason what all she has been doing is not being taken into negative aspects by her community. She has been making money ever since she has come to power in UP for the second time. Her assets have increased with addition of Rs. 35 crores. She has made this park to the amount of Rs. 700 crores, but nothing has been done for UP. I have traveled in this state for more than 500 kms and could not see street lights on the highways. The condition of basic amenities is worst. There is no electricity in the cities and power-cut is for 20 to 23 hrs a day. The resources in the state are in abundance but who has time to provide better life to the people of the state.

Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal & Green Park has three domes which are have the life story of the famous Dalit leaders like Dr. Bhimroa Ambedkar, Kashi Ram and the living Dalit Queen Mayawati. The cost of the dome is Rs. 18 crores, which have the statues and the life history of the leaders written on brass plates fitted in the walls. The park has more than 20 statues of Elephants which is the election symbol of the political party of Mayawati—Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). The pink-stone used in the making of the park is from the state of Rajasthan. The centre of the park has two bronze fountains which are 52 feet high–in a state where there is huge scarcity of drinking water–and more than 1000 bulbs to illuminate the park at night—in a state where power-cut is for 20 to 23 hrs in a day. The other things which are to be seen in the park are the huge statues of the other dalit leaders who are not as important as Mayawati is.

The park has main attraction which is only for the glorification of a single community and not the whole country. Mayawati says that elephants are the symbol of historical continuum, but all know that it is the mascot of her political party. The first section is named as ‘Rashtriya Dalit Smarak’ (National Dalit Memorial). This section has huge statues of Dr. Bhimroa Ambedkar, Kashi Ram and Mayawati. The three section in this one section has the history and the achievements engraved on the bronze murals of the three lone Dalit leader as stated by Mayawati—Dr. Bhimroa Ambedkar, Kashi Ram and she the sole political heiress of Kashi Ram. This section is spreading in the area of 36.25 acres (1,46,734 sq meters). Mayawati has his family statue made where her achievements are being engraved. All the positive aspects as there and rest assure that Mayawati has divided the common people of India once again under the name of lower caste and the upper caste.

For the information of the readers let me introduce one dalit leader—Babu Jagjivan Ram. He was man of word and was respected in the political system of India but was not given importance as he was a part of the dalit community. Mayawati has not been seen or heard ever talking about the towering personality of Babu Jagjivan Ram.

The people of UP are not able to voice against the tyrant rule of Mayawati which is supposed to be a terror and a person who can go to any extent to take a revenge against her esteem. It is rather the situation of this state since the days of independence where developmental work has not been proper. The roads are worst, the condition of the public transport is bad, bribe is a parallel economy, law and order is pathetic, etc. but who cares. It is the dreams of Mayawati which are being fulfilled no matter what the condition of the state is.

The political rivalries of Mayawati have been talking against the making of this park and in a statement Vinay Katiyar the leader of Bhartiya Janta Party said, “We will auction the elephants and utilise the money for the development of the state if we come to power”.

I would like to point out that as far as I am aware nowhere in the world are there streetlights on highways.
